Father's Day

Wanna know my idea of a great Father's Day? Today was it. I woke up to a card from my wife and kids with a note offering breakfast...we waited until Jan got home from work and changed it to lunch and headed for Pearl Street to enjoy my personal favorite - Illegal Pete's (think local Qdoba or Chipotle...only much better). Employees are college students...hard workers and generous with portions.

Here's my splurge...chicken nachos with queso (spicy!), black olives, lettuce, pico de gallo, and I even went the extra mile with a little sour cream - yummy!

Enjoyed with my beautiful bride...

And my lovely children...

We then took in some entertainment at the International Festival on Pearl Street. Here are the talented Japanese drummers, Mirai Daiko...

And we went and visited the new sweet shop and watched a couple minutes of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (original version) in style...

Jan bought me a new hat for the summer, because every bald man needs to keep the dome safe

Thank you guys for a great Father's Day. Very relaxing and fun!
